Heliox will provide the charging infrastructure and be responsible for the electrical installation and medium-voltage grid connection that will power 56 Mercedes-Benz eCitaros in Wiesbaden.

A service and maintenance contract is also part of what Heliox calls a turnkey solution. Construction starts at the end of 2019, the first chargers will operate in 2020 and the whole infrastructure will be in use in 2021.

“We are delighted that our close cooperation with Daimler Buses is paying off,” says Director Strategic Accounts Koen van Haperen.
