Britain has until Friday (9 February) to show the EU how it will comply with EU air pollution laws or face the European Court of Justice, after London reached its legal air pollution limit for 2018 in January.
The EU’s Environment Commissioner, Karmenu Vella says: “Deadlines for meeting these obligations have long since elapsed, but we can delay no more.”
