After a 17-month litigation process, Heanor, Derbyshire-based YourBus is to challenge National Express (NX) in the High Court of Justice over the termination of its contracts (routeone, News, 3 June 2015).
In a statement, YourBus MD Steve Ward says: “It has been a long and difficult process, but after being on the receiving end of a lot of diversionary tactics, we are finally going to have our day in court with National Express on 23 January 2018.
“We had a very difficult working relationship with NX, which deteriorated over time. “
We are very confident of a positive outcome in January, which may have far-reaching consequences for the way in which NX deals with its partner operators.”
