Arriva strike cancelled to vote

Arriva North West strike action for tomorrow (12 December) has been cancelled so drivers could take to a ballot today and tomorrow, to vote on a new pay deal.

Phil Stone, MD of Arriva North West Bus announced on Friday (8 December) that Arriva “has tabled a new two year pay agreement.”

Mr Stone Says: “We believe our latest offer guaranteeing a two year pay rise represents a fair and decent deal.”
