Three of the World’s most expensive touring coaches are arriving in the UK ready to join the fleet of Parrys International Tours of Cheslyn Hay.

Costing £500,000 each, the firm says they “represent the finest and most advanced passenger vehicles ever to be built for a UK operator.”

The coach was handed over to Dave Parry (left) by Moseley (PCV) Sales Director Tim Fairless

The first of three Van Hool TX17 Astron tri-axle 14.04m coaches will be on display this weekend in Blackpool, as part of the UK Coach Rally, at which Parrys has won the coveted ‘Coach of the Year’ title for an unprecedented six consecutive years.

Driving the coach and, also celebrating his 21st birthday, will be James Parry, the son of MD Dave Parry. Having passed his PCV test aged 18, he will now be able to drive the firm’s UK and continental tours.

The specification includes 48 reclining Keil 1030 seats with two-tone leather plus elegant stitching with embroidered seat numbers and air style tables and touch-screen entertainment.

There is also a full rear kitchen/servery, washroom while safety systems include ‘lane guard’ and EBS.
