Alexander Dennis (ADL) has appointed Shaun Millar to the new role of National Account Manager specialising in municipal and independent operators.

Mr Millar was most recently Business Development Manager for Irizar UK (e-mobility), where he helped introduce zero-emission buses to the Transport for London network. Previous to that, he owned and managed Eco Minibus Travel and was Area Representative for MAN Truck and Bus.

ADL says the new role involves “understanding customers fleet requirements in terms of technology and timelines”.

Mat Lawrence, ADL Fleet Sales Director, says: “We are absolutely delighted that Shaun has joined the Alexander Dennis family to support large independent and municipal operators at such an exciting time for our industry.

“With our next-generation zero-emission vehicles recently launched and hitting UK roads this year, not to mention our class-leading range of low-emission diesel vehicles, I’m sure that Shaun will be extremely busy supporting this important group of our customers.”
