‘Biggest year ever’ ahead for JG Travel Group

JG Travel Group, through its Just Go! Holidays, National Holidays and Omega Breaks brands, says it is on course to have its “biggest ever year” in 2022.

Sales for Just Go! and Omega Breaks are currently up 18% compared to 2019 levels, while National Holidays – purchased in mid-2020 – is surpassing expectations and set for “a bumper year,” the Group says. Short breaks, events and experiences are proving particularly popular, it adds.

Comments CEO Andy Freeth: “We are on course for the biggest year in our history. Many products have already sold out and more are being added all the time. We have worked really hard as a business over the last 18 months to drive awareness of all our brands and products. I am delighted with what we have achieved, and we have seen bookings rise across the group as a result.”

Mr Freeth describes travel as being “now firmly back on customers’ agenda” and that they are “keen to make 2022 their big year of holidays, with many booking three, four or even more trips during the year with us.”

JG Travel Group adds that National Holidays breaks themed around the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee event in London are outperforming expectations, as is a Just Go! trip that includes a journey on the Fry’s Chocolate Train. Mystery tours are also selling well, along with a ‘Royals and Rails’ itinerary to the Isle of Wight.
