Delegates are invited to enjoy Blackpool Pleasure Beach

The Coach Tourism Association (CTA) has announced the speakers and details for its two-day conference and AGM, to be held in Blackpool on 25-27 February.

Tour operator delegates get a £79 rate for two nights at the Redefine BDL Imperial Hotel on the seafront, with the fun kicking off on Sunday night.

Denise Bridges, CTA Chair, says: “We hope that delegates will arrive on Sunday 25 February so that they can enjoy a magical seaside afternoon and evening hosted by the hotel, Visit Blackpool and Blackpool Pleasure Beach.”

Conference speakers will include Visit Blackpool’s Philip Welsh, who will give an update on Blackpool’s regeneration plans; Debbie Marshall, MD of Silver Travel Advisor, who will present the mature travel market’s latest research; and Simon Smith from the Confederation of Passenger Transport, who will update on Ultra Low Emission Zone developments.

After the conference on Monday, the AGM will be held on Tuesday. The CTA will talk about its plans to increase its coach tour operator membership, invest in social media, and enhance membership benefits.
