Booking are now open for the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) Conference and Annual Dinner at the Park Plaza London Riverbank on 18 January 2024.
As CPT celebrates its 50th year, the 2024 conference programme has also been announced. The first segment, with the UK likely to go to the polls later in the year, is entitled “What will the General Election really mean for public transport?” Continuing the election theme, Labour’s pledges for bus policy will next be addressed.
The effect of the British economy on the industry is next on the programme, followed by “Changing perceptions of public transport”.
After lunch, the conference continues with “Embracing change – putting customers at the heart of innovation” and “Tackling the big challenges – working in partnership”.
The programme will end with CPT outlining its policies for the next government.
Speakers are to be announced and the programme and timings are subject to change.
There will be chance for networking at breakfast and lunch, as well as at the dinner in the evening, for which tickets are on sale.
Places at the conference are free of charge for CPT members.
