Carousel Buses has announced a £4,000 driver joining bonus as it prepares to hold its summer recruitment day on 7 June.
The Buckinghamshire operator is offering the incentive to would-be bus drivers, while existing PCV licence-holders will be eligible for an additional bonus.
Carousel Buses is staging the open day at the Holiday Inn in High Wycombe to allow those interested to ask questions of the management team and speak with current drivers.
“Immediate employment, job security and excellent pay rates” are promised by the Go-Ahead subsidiary.
Its recruitment efforts have been boosted by the recent opening of its VIP Bus Driver Academy in High Wycombe. Previously, trainees had faced a round trip of up to 90 minutes to attend facilities at Oxford Bus Company in Oxford.
