Nottingham operator CT4N Charitable Trust has chosen Omnibus cloud solutions to replace manual processes for its scheduling and depot allocation.
In a move designed to boost efficiency, CT4N will switch to Omnibus Scheduling Suite for timetables and schedules, OmniDAS for for real-time driver and vehicle management and driver app OmniENGAGE to improve communication with drivers.
The registered charity, which was formerly known as Nottingham Community Transport, provides scheduled and demand-responsive services to connect communities across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Nigel Eggleton, Commercial Director at CT4N, says: “Our customers rely on us to increase their accessibility and mobility by connecting them to where they need to go. To meet those expectations, we are delighted to partner with Omnibus to drive efficiencies as well as allow us to boost areas that are raising revenue to support the work of the charity.”
Peter Crichton, Founder of Omnibus, adds: “Whether the goal is to improve efficiencies around timetabling, allocation of drivers or produce accurate payroll outputs, we work side-by-side with operators of all sizes and vital community organisations, like CT4N, to enable them to achieve their growth strategies.”
