The parent company of EPM and Omnibus, EPM Transport Solutions, has rebranded as The Velociti Group.
The company says the move, which includes a new logo, is a step towards its “wider aim to deliver innovative software and specialist consultancy to power public transport”, but adds that the day-to-day running of EPM and Omnibus will not alter.
With the tagline “The Future. Accelerated”, the new group’s new identity covers EPM and Omnibus, as well as rail software consultants 3Squared and rail software firm FabDigital.
A statement from The Velociti Group reads: “We want to reassure our customers that whilst the wider group is changing its identity to encompass its stake in rail as well as buses, nothing will change with the day-to-day running of EPM and Omnibus and the existing work with our clients.”
Ian Churchill, CEO at Velociti Group, says: “We are delighted to launch Velociti Group, a new name and vibrant identity that effectively embodies us as a group. Velociti Group encompasses a wealth of heritage and ambition from across the bus and rail sectors and we are pleased to reflect this in our new brand.”
“Velociti Group companies will continue to operate as individual entities while the new group identity will bring them together as a collective, with the combined aim of creating a better future for forward-thinking organisations seeking to improve outcomes in bus and rail transport.”
The consultancy EPM Bus Solutions bought Omnibus in February 2021. Omnibus provides software for scheduling, staff rosters, depot allocation and timetable construction.
EPM has announced deals in the past few weeks with TrawsCymru and Reading Borough Council. First Bus, Arriva, Transport for Greater Manchester and Stagecoach are also listed among its clients.
