First South Yorkshire (FSY) has announced that two 24-hour strikes planned by drivers who are members of union Unite have been called off following further talks.

Originally scheduled for 27 July and 3 August, the stoppages were called in relation to pay. A further offer has been tabled by FSY. It will be put to a ballot on Tuesday 30 July.

FSY expects Unite to recommend the offer to its members “after positive and meaningful discussions.”
