Hannah Man, Communications Manager at Go-Ahead London, has been named winner of the Customer/Passenger Award – Above and Beyond at the Everywoman awards in Transport and Logistics in London.
The award is presented “to a woman whose commitment to the highest standards of customer or passenger service led to outstanding business results”.
Ms Man started out in the industry in 2003 as a graduate trainee.
As well as her main communications role, she is an ambassador for Go-Ahead Women, an initiative launched by the company this year in a bid to recruit 1,500 new women bus drivers by the end of 2025. It will also see £8 million invested into creating inclusive working environment’s across Go-Ahead’s bus operations.
Ms Man says: “I’m excited and proud to have won the Customer award at the annual everywoman awards for Transport and Logistics. Customers are at the very heart of our business and, in everything I do, I want to improve their experience and help to achieve better results for our business. I’d like to thank my colleagues for this nomination and their support.”

Among the four runners-up for the award was Rukia Ali, FlixBus Stations Manager at Victoria Coach Station.
In the Customer/Passenger Award – Leader category, Lorna Murphy, Operations and HR Director at Transport UK London Bus, was a runner-up.
