New coach is 1.5m longer than previous Gold-branded coaches

Grand UK Holidays has invested in a £300,000 coach for its Grand UK Gold brand.

The Irizar i6s has 44 reclining leather seats with extra legroom, and slide-apart function for even more space.

Each seat has its own USB port and there is free Wi-Fi onboard.

The coach has tinted panoramic windows, an on-board library, drinks machine and fridge.

The company has worked closely in partnership with coach operator Olympia Travel of Wigan to design the bespoke coaches for the Grand UK Gold fleet.

Ian Clarke, Coaching Controller at The UK Holiday Group, says: “Safety and comfort are paramount to us and this investment ticks both those boxes.

“We have increased safety measures by taking advantage of latest technologies.

“This coach provides an additional four seats and is more than 1.5m longer than our previous Gold coaches.”

Gold holidays feature three- and four-star hotels, a commemorative photograph, a welcome reception at the accommodation, and a dedicated welcome pack with travel goodies.
