Lloyds Coaches has taken delivery of five new Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200 buses.
The Machynlleth-based operator has thus added to previous examples of the single-deckers bought from the manufacturer.
The buses will be used on routes G21, G23 and G24, which are operated on behalf of the council Cyngor Gwynedd and which link local communities with Machynlleth, Dolgellau and Porthmadog in Mid Wales.
The 9.7m-long buses have 33 seats and space for a wheelchair user, plus audio-visual next-stop announcements and induction loops.
They come with Alexander Dennis SmartPack efficiency technology and engine stop-start technology.
Lloyds Coaches Managing Director Dan Lloyd says: “Lloyds Coaches is proud to continue its investment in new buses for our services, benefitting our passengers and the communities served by our routes.
“The Alexander Dennis Enviro200 is ideal for the services we provide in partnership with Cyngor Gwynedd, offering sizeable capacity in a bus that easily navigates rural roads.”
Simon Wood, ADL Regional Sales Manager says: “I am delighted to once again be supplying new buses to Lloyds Coaches and to continue the relationship I have built over the last 20 years with Dan’s choice of our Enviro200 for this latest fleet upgrade.”
