Go-Ahead has recruited Nigel Featham as Managing Director to lead its new Go North West (GNW) operation in Manchester.
Mr Featham joins after 10 years at Arriva, where he led its North East, Yorkshire and Yorkshire Tiger operations, achieving strong passenger growth, revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
The new GNW business has started with Go-Ahead's takeover of First's Queens Road depot serving Oldham and Bolton with 163 vehicles, in a deal worth £11.2m [routeone/News/1 June].
