Jean Edwards, formerly of South Wales operator Edwards Coaches, passed away on 27 May at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. She was 91.
Mrs Edwards worked for the family business as an escort on home-to-school contracts for many years, not retiring until she was in her 80s.
She has been described as “a coach and bus person through and through,” and would often check Edwards’ adverts in local newspapers and ensure that its vehicles were clean at all times.
The funeral will take place at Glynntaff Crematorium in Pontypridd, CF37 4BE on 14 June at noon. Refreshments will follow at the Llantwit Sports and Social Club.
