Following a run at the National Theatre and a sell-out run at the 2015 Edinburgh Festival, Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour will transfer to the West End’s Duke of York’s Theatre.
Described as “a glorious anthem to friendship, youth and growing up disgracefully”, the award-winning musical will run from 9 May-2 September, with an official opening on 15 May.
Adapted by Billy Elliot author Lee Hall, the play is adapted from the novel The Sopranos by Alan Warner.
Songs used in the production include ‘Lift Thine Eyes’ by Mendelssohn, ‘Mr Blue Sky’ and ‘Long Black Road’ by the ELO, ‘Oh Taste and See’ by Vaughan Williams and ‘Three Little Birds’ by Bob Marley.
