PHVC Minibus and Fleet Suppliers has announced the acquisition of Atlas Mobility Conversions.
The acquisition follows a decades-long relationship between the two businesses and will allow PHVC to expand its lease and rental offering to its customers.
Atlas is a family-run company with 40 years’ experience in wheelchair-accessible and bespoke vehicle conversions.
The new arrangement means PHVC will be able to give customers access to more vehicles and offer more competitive lease options, the business says.
“We are delighted to welcome Atlas into the PHVC family,” says Paul Huxford, Chairman and founder of Fareham-based PHVC. “Our partnership has been built on trust, quality and customer focus.
“By formally joining forces, we can deliver an even greater range of wheelchair-accessible and specialist vehicles to our customers across the UK.”
PHVC, which was established in 1990, works with manufacturers including Ford, Vauxhall and Iveco to supply the education, community care and business sectors.
Atlas Director Mary Cordina adds: “We are proud of the reputation Atlas has built as a family-run converter.
“Becoming part of PHVC allows us to continue delivering the personal service our customers expect, whilst giving them more choice than ever before.”
