Over 230 Reading Buses drivers have completed between one and five years of accident free driving.
The recognition comes from the Road Operators Safety Council (ROSCO) Safe Driving Awards scheme.
Says Chief Executive Officer Martijn Gilbert: “The company is committed to safe and accident free driving and it is a fantastic achievement that so many of our team reach this standard to be presented with the official ROSCO certificate for 2018.
Martijn also pointed to their on-board telematics system ‘DriveWell’ that helps focus drivers’ attention on all elements of driving such as braking, accelerating and idling.
“DriveWell has been a real success in helping drivers to think more about road conditions and planning ahead. It not only helps with the safety and smoothness of the journey, but also helps save fuel,” Martijn added.
