David Liston is to become Managing Director of Stagecoach’s North Scotland bus operations from 1 June.
Mr Liston, previously Business Efficiency and Engineering Director at First UK Bus, will take over from current North Scotland Managing Director Mark Whitelocks who is to take on the position of Managing Director, Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire.

David Liston is a fully qualified, Chartered Engineer, with 30 years’ experience of operating large and complex vehicle fleets across the UK and North America. He has held several senior leadership roles at FirstGroup plc, and most recently, David was part of the team that created Essential Fleet Services Ltd, a specialist fleet provider managing and maintaining c3,500 vehicles for Local Authority and Corporate markets across the UK.
