Tanat Valley Coaches is among the first operators to take up a bus rental offering recently introduced by Asset Alliance Group.
As a result, the 58-vehicle Powys business has taken delivery of a 9.7m Alexander Dennis Enviro200 and a 10.8m Volvo B8RLE with MCV Evora bodywork (pictured) under three-year agreements. The Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant operator will use them on routes in Shropshire and Mid Wales.
Managing Director Chris Chadd says that key to the rental scheme “is the flexibility offered in the length of contracts and the fact that we can access a wide variety of ready for use vehicles but with none of the financial and operational responsibilities of ownership.”
He adds: “The new additions to our fleet from Asset Alliance Group’s rental stock will allow us to continue to provide a reliable service for thousands of passengers across the region. Crucially, they come with a warranty that gives us peace of mind if we ever have any problems.”
Each of the buses is expected to cover more than 100,000km per annum with Tanat Valley Coaches. The Volvo is a 38-seater while the Enviro200 has 34 seats.
Comments Asset Alliance Group Business Development Manager for Bus and Coach Paul Fairbanks: “We are thrilled that Chris and his team are reaping the benefits of our bus rental initiative.
“Under the scheme, the buses we offer are the ideal solutions for companies looking to quickly refresh their fleets while ensuring that there is no disruption to their services.”
Mr Chadd says that Asset Alliance Group’s service level works well for Tanat Valley. “We have built an excellent relationship with Paul. The figures all stacked up and we are likely to do more business with the company in the future.”
