Wrightbus has established an onsite recruitment office to coincide with the expansion of its workforce.

The office is in the manufacturer’s Ballymena factory and follows on from last year’s announcement of 300 permanent new roles to be filled by 2022 due to an influx of orders. Wrightbus has since announced deals with businesses in Australia and Germany and the Republic of Ireland.

It will be open Monday to Thursday between 1500hrs and 1700hrs.

When the roles are filled it will have taken the Wrightbus workforce from 56 people to more than 900 in two years.

“The opening of our recruitment office is another fantastic step forward for us as we continue to expand, thanks to a surge of orders from the UK, Ireland and overseas,” says Wrightbus Managing Director Neil Collins. “We’ve had a phenomenal couple of years and it’s an incredibly exciting time to join Wrightbus.”
