Yellow Buses in Bournemouth has taken delivery of five new buses to serve the south coast-to-London routes.
The 55-seat Caetano Levantes represent a £1.7m investment and have joined the fleet that the firm operates on behalf of National Express.
The news comes shortly after Yellow Buses was bought out by the management team of David Squire, Simon Newport and Phil Pannell from its French owners [routeone/News/3 July].
Mr Squire, Managing Director, says: “These are exceptional vehicles and the passengers will love them.
“We have been running National Express coaches for some time, not least because we have a superb engineering department as well as expert drivers.
“By offering plenty of room, comfortable seats as well as wi-fi, charging points and on-board entertainment, we will hopefully attract people who might otherwise have driven.”
