A First bus in Colchester has been taken off the road due to tyre damage caused by the tracking being out of line, the operator says.

Passengers took photos and reported it to the driver.
Steve Hartman, Ops Manager says: “The bus is checked every 28 days and on 8 May had 9mm of tread.
Extra checks of the tyre walls on all buses are being carried out.
He added: “Safety is our main priority in in everything we do at First Essex and we take all matters such as this very seriously.
