A new member of the Middlesbrough-based Commercial Coaches fleet is a Yutong GT12, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach (01924 227722).
The GT12 has 53 seats with a centre sunken toilet. It comes with the standard driveline of a DAF MX-11 engine developing 450bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
The operator saw Pelican’s GT12 demonstrator at Coach & Bus Live in 2019 and was impressed enough to order one. Thus far the coach has been as far as the South Tyrol area of Italy.
“We are very pleased with the GT12 so far,” says Commercial Coaches Transport Manager Alan Mottram. “The driver assigned to it is very happy with it and it has also been well received by passengers.”
