East Lothian coach passenger contactless

Prentice of Haddington is working with Ticketer to be the first to offer contactless payments to passengers in East Lothian.

The first to use the Ticketer contactless ETMs will be the route from Haddington to Fort Kinnaird retail park, with other routes following in the next few weeks.

Ross Prentice, Managing Director of Prentice of Haddington, says: “We are always looking to innovate and create a better experience for our passengers. As contactless payments become ever more common in daily life it’s important that we keep pace with the retail sector.

“Ticketer has made contactless possible for an operator of our size at a reasonable cost and we look forward to continuing our excellent relationship with John and his team for many years to come.”

The new Ticketer ETMs also offer m-Tickets, Apple Pay and Android Pay options.
