Seaward Travel of London has added a further Volvo B8R with 12.8m, 61-seat Plaxton Panther bodywork to its fleet. It has been supplied by the body manufacturer.
USB charging points are fitted at every seat and powered luggage locker doors are part of the specification. The coach is finished in white. It has polished alloy wheels and heavily tinted side glazing.
Seaward Travel General Manager Richard Cassell says the Plaxton Panther offers good legroom and luggage space. “It is one of five 61-seat examples in our fleet and it will be used mainly for airport transfers and private hires. It is a very comfortable single-deck coach for larger groups.”
Mr Cassell adds that the operator has been dealing with Plaxton since 2009. The B8R is powered by Volvo’s six-cylinder, 7.7-litre D8K engine developing 350bhp. In Plaxton’s range it is also available with Elite and Leopard bodywork.
