First Bus has appointed three Managing Directors; all of whom are internal appointments.
Dervla McKay, who joined First Group in 2005 as a Graduate Trainee, has been made Managing Director of Aircoach. She was previously Head of Operations for First Hampshire, Dorset & Berkshire.
Andrew Sherrington has been appointed as Managing Director at First Cymru. He has held managerial positions at Stagecoach and Go-Ahead, but most recently was Operations Director for First West of England.
Ian Humphreys has recently been promoted to Managing Director for First Manchester, having worked for First Bus for over 20 years, with his most recent position being Commercial Director for First Manchester.
Speaking about the appointments, Giles Fearnley, MD of First Bus, says: “I’m delighted to announce that we have filled three Managing Director roles from within the business.
