Morebus engineers shave heads in support of local hospital charity

A group of Morebus engineers have raised almost £1,000 for Dorset County Hospital Charity’s coronavirus COVID-19 appeal – by shaving their heads.

The Poole-based engineers, who are helping to keep key workers across the region travelling, have traded hair for donations and as a show of solidarity with NHS staff on the front line.

Says Morebus Engineer Daniel Large: “It’s fair to say a few of us were a little nervous – but it was all in aid of an incredibly worthy cause.

“I’m delighted to report we’ve already raised almost £1,000 of our £1,200 target, but we want to raise as much as we possibly can.”

To donate to the Morebus engineers’ big shave, visit their Just Giving page.
