Geoff Flight, 60, has died after suffering a heart attack. Best-known for Flights Coaches, which pioneered high-quality airport-shuttle services from the West Midlands, as well as other coaching, he remained active in the industry as a consultant after the business was sold.
Flights was bought by Dunn-Line in 2002 and sold it on to Rotala in August 2005, by when Hallmark Coaches (now Hallmark Connections) became part of the group. He retired from the Rotala board in 2016.
His funeral is on Friday 6 April at 1130hrs at St Peters Church, Little Aston, B74 3GA and afterwards at the Moor Hall Hotel, Four Oaks B75 6LN.
