Raymond Hornsby, former Director of Hornsby Travel and Regional Chairman of East Midlands CPT, has died after a five-year battle with prostate cancer.
Raymond would work in the business from a young age doing jobs in the bus yard. He took over the family firm in 1965 when his father Joseph – who had started the business with his father in 1914 – decided to retire.
The funeral will be at St Peters Church Scotter on Tuesday 9 July at 1045hrs followed by private committal.
