Paul Lewis-Horner named ADL Group Quality Director

Alexander Dennis has appointed Paul Lewis-Horner to the newly created position of Group Quality Director. Mr Lewis-Horner joins from Jaguar Land Rover, where he most recently held the role of Programme Quality Director.

As a member of the executive leadership team Mr Lewis-Horner will report to President and Managing Director Paul Davies. He will “define and drive the quality and reliability strategy for the business as the company increases its focus on enhancing operators’ cost of ownership and profitability, improving the lives of the travelling public and accelerating decarbonisation,” Alexander Dennis says.

Mr Lewis-Horner began his automotive career as a metallurgist before moving into his first quality role. Subsequently he held a series of senior leadership positions in China, Germany and the UK, including over 20 years with General Motors.

Speaking about the appointment, Mr Davies says: “I am delighted that Paul has taken on this critical role within our business. Quality is a core value of Alexander Dennis and we are passionate about further improving that for our customers.

“Paul joins as a key member of my executive team as we continue on our journey to deliver transformational change that positively impacts on those who partner with us to lead the future success of our coach and bus industry.”
