Scania (Great Britain) has held its Apprentice of the Year competition, which aims to test and reward the skills of the firm’s top apprentice technicians.
Nominations are based on aptitude, attitude, behavior in the dealership and performance on block release, together with feedback from the students’ managers and training partner Remit Group’s developmental coach.
This year’s winners are: Jack Roffe of Boston, Alexander Myres of Lincoln and Jake Berry of Maidstone, who has won three years in a row.
Says Martin Hay, Managing Director of Scania (Great Britain): “Apprenticeships have long represented a key investment for the future of Scania. We are delighted to reward this group and demonstrate their commitment to developing their knowledge and skill base.”
