Paul Clark Services (PCS), a leading provider of specialist engineering support to the coach and bus industry, is beginning the roll-out of a ‘five in one’ system from BigChange that will transform the management of its field service operations.
Currently, 30 PCS engineers are equipped with tablets as part of a phased implementation that will see a complete switch soon.
Combining computerised job scheduling with real-time tracking and a series of mobile apps, PCS plans to use the cloud-based JobWatch system to replace existing software and paper-based systems.
JobWatch offers a wide range of apps to eliminate paperwork. Those apps are linked in real time to the BigChange back office management software that offers PCS management a complete solution for tasks such as asset management, job scheduling and customer service.
That will allow PCS to assign jobs automatically. By switching to app-based scheduling and reporting, PCS expects to see significant business administrative improvements, allowing it to spend more time focusing on delivering the best service to operators.
PCS has a team of in excess of 120 engineers servicing the coach and bus industry.
