In regards to last week’s news story on Claire’s Charter [routeone/News/5 December], let’s talk about children who are under the age of five that are legally not being defined as passengers on board a coach, and can legally travel unsecured on one.
A loophole is being exploited by some operators. Let’s look at that too.
The Department for Transport currently has no interest in changing legislation due to it being ‘uneconomic for families to travel’, disgusting.
