I want to thank all those who supported Bugler Coaches Big Hearted Valentine's Ball at Bath's Apex Hotel on 9 February.

Special thanks go to our industry colleagues at First West of England and Bath Bus Company for their generous support, which has helped us reach the halfway point in our bid to raise the money to buy a Fibre Optic Intubating Laryngoscope for the Intensive Care Unit at The Bristol Heart Institute, where patients from a wide area of Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire are treated when they need Open Heart Surgery.

Professor Raimondo Ascione, one of the UK's leading heart surgeons and a pioneer of the

'Beating Heart' operation was the guest speaker. He told the 150 guests how operating without stopping the heart in the traditional 'on pump' method speeds recovery and reduces some of the risks of a coronary artery by-pass operation.

Bugler Coaches is now planning another event to raise the other half of the money needed.

Thanks again fall all of the support and sponsorship, and making me proud to work in an industry that comes together to raise money to save lives.
