I have just read that new measures are to be put in place so that bus drivers can remove passengers who refuse to move from the wheelchair space when requested [routeone/News/14 March].

This is not the first time legislation has been drawn up which leaves professional drivers between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Let's hope the consultation is a thorough one and includes those doing the job.
