I was once again at a busy Cheltenham Festival last week, where Section 19 and 22 permit holders can be seen openly flouting the law and getting away with it – even advertising private hire on their websites.
Why is it that DVSA is blind to this?
As a small business with a fleet of two minibuses, it makes my blood boil that DVSA will pick on PSV operators trying to stay within the law and make a living yet lets these organisations go scot-free.
I have reported such organisations to DVSA. Whether anything will come of it we shall have to wait and see.
