I have just read some good news from an interesting article in the local paper, here in Southend-on-Sea:
The parking initiative gives coach drivers free parking at one of 15 spaces available at the town's Arriva depot from Monday to Friday, 0900-1800hrs, or at 25 spaces allocated at the seafront, Gasworks site on Saturdays and Sundays from 0900-2000hrs. Booking must be made in advance by calling the Visitor Centre on 01702 215 620.
There’s nothing about overnight parking for touring coaches, but it is a start.
