After reading the news story about RMT members staging a one-day strike at RATP Dev London’s Quality Line depot in Epsom [routeone/News/6 December], I was sad to see the business go in this direction.
But hearing from the staff who are not with the RMT at Quality Line and some who are, it is the behaviour of some individuals on the day and how they attempted to cause disruption to the paying public just shows why RMT isn't the chosen union.
In all this, it is forgotten that they attempted to disrupt the residents, paying public and office workers in the area for a dispute they have with Quality Line/RATP.
No one will be sympathetic to that cause and certainly not for playing loud music at 0330hrs in the morning.
