Asset Alliance has funded the two new vehicles that were delivered in recent months to Pat’s Coaches of Wrexham.
As already seen, those are a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo Access coach and an Ilesbus I-City Max low-floor midibus, based on an Iveco Daily underframe. The latter is notable in being the first Ilesbus vehicle for the UK to be supplied with rear-view cameras.
Both are PSVAR compliant and they will be used for all manner of work, including the carriage of supporters of newly-promoted Wrexham AFC. The club rejoined the football league recently as champions of the National League.
Pat’s is official supplier for away transport to the Red Dragons, and upon Wrexham’s return to the league the operator was also involved in providing vehicles for an open-top victory parade.
The Tourismo Access and I-City Max have joined a fleet of 23 coaches and buses.
Pat’s Coaches Managing Director Keith Davies describes the arrivals as “an investment for the future,” noting that the need for PSVAR and Euro VI compliant vehicles has grown.
Pat’s Coaches is another Welsh operator to work with Asset Alliance. Speaking about that relationship, Mr Davies says: “With [Asset Alliance’s] flexibility, competitive rates and ability to supply the vehicles in a short timeframe, it has made things very easy.
“We are building a strong relationship with National Sales Manager Scott Burke, who has been a pleasure to deal with.” The operator also looks forward to playing a part in Wrexham AFC’s ongoing success after promotion into EFL League Two, Mr Davies concludes.
