Airport coach specialist Flibco has engaged two UK-based agencies to deliver a paid social, display and digital marketing campaign to build awareness of the brand and drive bookings for its shuttle services in key markets including Belgium, France and Italy.
One Black Bear is working with SHC Digital – both based in Birmingham – on the project. They have combined creative and technical expertise to produce pitch-winning ideas that are now being developed into a pan-European campaign. The project has already moved into production, with an on-location shoot in Belgium underway.
Flibco arrived in the UK during 2025. Its services between London and Stansted Airport are delivered by The Coach Travel Group, for which 18 new vehicles were delivered earlier in 2026. Majority shareholder in Flibco is Flix, parent of FlixBus UK.
Flibco Head of Marketing and Digital Communications Matteo Cirio says that One Black Bear and SHC Digital “impressed us with the freshness of their proposed strategy and the fact that they wanted to employ a ‘test and learn’ approach – ensuring that the campaign continually evolves based on feedback and data.”
One Black Bear Account Director Lucy Bennett adds that the pitch with SHC Digital “was extremely competitive against many international agencies, which just goes to show how much talent and creativity we have in Birmingham.”
Ms Bennett observes that the campaign’s focus will be on “creating work that feels sharp, relevant and effective across several different markets without losing the simplicity of the message.”
The collaboration has already expanded beyond its original remit, with Flibco subsequently approaching the partnership to handle a second brief for its Door2Gate transfer offering.
Both projects involve navigating complex linguistic landscapes and cultural nuances to ensure that the creative messaging remains impactful and authentic for every local audience.
Adds Mr Cirio: “It is a very exciting time for Flibco and we look forward to increasing our presence and unique shuttle offer across Europe.”
