Gruppo Torinese Trasporti S.p.A (GTT), Turin’s transport company, has selected Papercast for its next generation of solar-powered e-paper bus stop display systems that use E-ink technology.
GTT set out to replace its LCD-based passenger information system with a sustainable, standalone, solar-powered solution.
During extensive supplier due diligence, GTT evaluated like-for-like product performance during field testing and selected Papercast.
Papercast will supply 13.3in solar-powered e-paper displays fully integrated into GTT’s live GTFS data feed to show live arrival information without the need to change batteries.
