Teleste Corporation will deliver LED passenger information displays to the municipally owned Cologne Transit Authority in Germany. 462 such units will be supplied.
The product can show a wide variety of information, including timetables, reliably and in all weathers.
It allows content to be shared in colour and with high brightness, meaning that messages are visible from a distance.
Teleste will also be responsible for the installation of the passenger information units, which it says will allow passengers to access high-quality information when and where they need it.
