Smart ticketing systems supplier Ticketer gained two honours in the Newbury Weekly News Best In Business Awards last week.
The Berkshire-based outfit won “Best Business Innovation” and was also shortlisted in the “Employer of the Year” category.
Judges gave the award for “continued innovation, consistent improvement of operational efficiencies, driving down overhead costs and being brilliant at improving its client satisfaction”.
Ticketer was established in 2009 and has continued to expand its offering via the latest technological advancements.
Andy Monshaw, Ticketer’s Group Chief Executive Officer says: “Being recognised as an innovator in the region, and going back to Ticketer’s roots in West Berkshire, is truly humbling.
“The many years of product and service innovations, spanning from electronic-ticket machines and tap-off readers all the way through to schedule adherence and road-restriction alerts – and so much more – caught the eye of the judges. We were even noted as ‘Hungerford’s best kept secret’!”
