TfL celebrates 10 years of ‘talking buses’
Transport for London is marking 10 years of its iBus audio/visual information system on buses.
It says iBus has made bus travel more accessible to all customers, especially those with hearing or visual impairments, and has “boosted reliability to record levels”.
The system has been emulated across the UK since its implementation in 2009.
