RATP Dev London, which operates as London United, has won six new routes following competitive tender.
The new routes are:
– Route 105 (Heathrow Airport-Greenford), currently operated by Metroline. This route will transfer to RATP Dev London in June 2018.
– Route 288 (Queensbury-Broadfield), currently operated by Arriva London. This route will transfer to RATP Dev London in September 2018.
– Route 303 (Edgware-Colindale), currently operated by Arriva London. Under the new contract, which begins in September 2018, this route will be merged with Route 305 (Edgware-Kingsbury) to form a single service.
– H12 (South Harrow-Stanmore), currently operated by Metroline. This route will transfer to RATP Dev London in September 2018.
– Route H18/19 (Harrow-Pinner circular service), currently operated by Arriva London. This route will transfer to RATP Dev London in September 2018.
– Route K3 (Esher-Roehampton Vale), currently operated by Abellio London. This route will transfer to RATP Dev London in June 2018.
The six routes represent an additional 56 buses worth of work for RATP Dev London.
As well as the new routes, RATP Dev London successfully retained five ‘home’ routes: 216 (Staines-Kingston); H14 (Hatch End-Northwick Park Hospital); H17 (Wembley-Harrow), which will convert to double-deck operation; K2 (Hook-Kingston) and the K4 (Mansfield Estate-Kingston Hospital).
New contracts for all the retained routes will begin in June 2018, with the exception of the H14 and H17, which start in September 2018.
