HJS has completed a retrofit programme for Tower Transit, upgrading around 100 buses from Euro 4/5 to Euro 6 emission standards.
The retrofit HJS Real Blue SCRT system consists of a diesel particulate filter system in combination with an SCR catalyst and an AdBlue injection system, which reduces tailpipe emissions to standards comparable to Euro 6 levels.
It’s certified through the Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme (CVRAS) which complies with the requirements of the Energy Saving Trust, and has successfully passed in service performance testing and have been certified at Millbrook Proving Ground.
